Who Is the Client?
It is an auto parts manufacturer headquartered in Monterrey, Mexico. It supplies engine brackets, chassis structural components and metal stamping parts for multiple vehicle manufacturers in North America. The enterprise operates 2 production bases in Mexico with more than 600 employees and a workshop area of approximately 15,000 square meters. The company launched a lean production upgrade project in 2025, aiming to improve workshop production efficiency and quality control through visual management.
Challenges Faced by the Client
- Opaque production progress — Production progress, equipment status and abnormal conditions of each production line relied on verbal reports from team leaders and paper work orders. Management had to go to the workshop to obtain real-time information, resulting in severe information lag.
- Slow response to abnormalities — When equipment failures, material shortages or quality issues occurred, operators needed to walk to the office to find supervisors. The back-and-forth trips wasted time and prolonged production line downtime.
- Paper work orders prone to contamination and loss — The workshop environment featured heavy oil stains and metal dust. Paper work orders and forms were often soiled or lost, which undermined production recording and traceability.
- Inadequate safety warnings — Printed A4 sheets with safety operation specifications and emergency response procedures were pasted on walls. Over time, the paper curled and faded, and employees rarely read them.
- Wasted wall space — The factory had numerous metal columns and partition walls, yet they were barely utilized except for several old whiteboards hung on them.

In terms of product parameters, Vwin offered four customized specifications according to different zones and functional demands of the workshop:
- Production Line Status Kanban (1 piece per production line, 12 pieces in total): 120×90cm, wall-mounted or column-mounted, used to display daily production plans, actual output, achievement rates and abnormality records
- Abnormality Call Board (1 piece per production line, 12 pieces in total): 60×90cm, column-mounted, for operators to mark equipment failures, material shortages and quality abnormalities in real time
- Safety Information Board (workshop entrances and key workstations, 8 pieces in total): 90×120cm, wall-mounted, used to show safety operation specifications, emergency procedures, safe days and monthly safety themes
- Quality Traceability Board (quality inspection area, 4 pieces in total): 120×180cm, wall-mounted, for displaying batch inspection results, defect rate trends and tracking of corrective actions
All whiteboards adopt high-quality galvanized steel panels with industrial matte baking paint on the surface, which resists oil, dust and frequent erasing and writing. The back side features a strong magnetic layer that can be directly attached to metal columns and metal partition walls without drilling. The frames are made of thickened aluminum alloy with rounded corners, suitable for workshop environments. Fixed fields are custom-printed on the board surface; employees only need to fill in specific figures.
In addition, Vwin provides supporting supplies including industrial whiteboard markers, heavy-duty magnetic fasteners and dedicated erasers to ensure stable long-term use in workshop conditions.
Delivery & Service
After sample confirmation, Vwin completed mass production of all goods within 22 working days.
A total of 36 industrial magnetic whiteboards for the 2 production bases.
Each whiteboard is custom printed with the factory name, production line number and fixed fields to unify management standards.
Products were shipped by sea to the Port of Manzanillo, Mexico on CIF terms. Vwin took full responsibility for insurance and transportation.
